    Guidance

    Many resident users find the access they have to professional advice during their residence exceptionally valuable. This goes for all kinds of designers and others working with innovative projects.

     

    The leaders of the workshops and the workshop consultants offer advice on furniture design and industrial design, but we can also help out where installation art, sculpture and other forms of pictorial art are concerned.

     

    Some artists and designers find it helpful to avail themselves of our advice on how to apply for residency with the Danish Art Workshops. We then help out with fine-tuning the pre-project; with specifying needs and requirements; and with establishing what techniques would be involved during a subsequent residency.

    SVK Artists, designers and restorers may apply for a short term or long term residency with the Danish Art Workshops (SVK) with a view to producing concrete projects. The workshops is an institution under the Danish Ministry of Culture.
